Cancellation Policy

Roscoe Village Animal Hospital established our policies and procedures to ensure the highest quality of care. No-shows and late cancellations prevent other patients from receiving much-needed care or treatments. We have therefore implemented the following policies regarding no-shows and canceled appointments.

Scheduled Appointments: 

RVAH respectfully requests that all clients arrive 10-15 minutes before their pet’s scheduled appointment to allow for unforeseen traffic delays, parking and allow time for check-in.  If you cannot make your scheduled time, please notify the office within 24 hours or as soon as possible.  

**If you are running late for your appointment, please let the office know immediately.  If lateness exceeds more than 10 minutes, you will be asked to reschedule your appointment. For appointments that are missed without notification, a $150.00 deposit is required before scheduling your next appointment.  This deposit will be applied to your next visit.  Should you be unable to attend your rescheduled appointment and fail to notify the office for a second time, it will result in the forfeiture of your deposit.

New Client Appointments:

For all new, first-time appointments, RVAH requires a $95.00 deposit at the time of scheduling.  This deposit is applied to your final balance at checkout.  Please notify the hospital within 24 hours if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.  RVAH is happy to refund the cost of your deposit or leave it as a credit on your account until your next appointment.  If you cannot attend your scheduled appointment and fail to notify the hospital, it will result in the forfeiture of your deposit.

Scheduled Procedures: 

RVAH requires a surgical booking fee of $225.00 to be made at the time of scheduling your pet’s procedure.  This fee will be applied to your final invoice on the day of your pet’s appointment.  If you need to cancel or reschedule your pet’s appointment, you must do so within 48 hours of your scheduled time. Failure to notify the hospital within this time or not showing up the day of this appointment will result in the forfeiture of your deposit. 

RVAH will provide a specific and detailed estimate for all surgical and dental procedures no later than seven days before your pet’s procedure.
