"I've been taking my dog to RVAH for at least 3-4 years. Since she has Addison's disease and a fragile immune system, I can't even begin to count how many times we've been there for both routine and urgent/sick visits over the years. At this point, I'm pretty sure my dog and I have seen just about everyone on staff at least once, if not twice.Our regular vet is Dr. Garrison and he's amazing. He's always clear and thorough in his examinations, includes me in treatment decisions, and is mindful about doing only what's necessary. I really appreciate his honesty when he feels a procedure may not be needed, and I trust my dog in his hands implicitly. In fact, he's talked me out of at least two procedures over the past seven months that ultimately weren't necessary.My stress levels at the vet are always high given my dog's history, but the entire RVAH team, both the staff and the vets, are wonderful. They make even the most stressful visits feel manageable. I'm so grateful for that since the pooch and I are such frequent visitors!"
